Data Centre Systems Engineer (Nv1/Nv2 Cleared)

Job Description We are seeking multiple highly skilled Data Centre Systems Engineers with NV1 or NV2 security clearance to join our delivery team supporting secure infrastructure environments across government and enterprise customers. To be successful you will require deep hands‑on technical expertise across Windows/Linux systems, VMware, networking, firewalls, and automation technologies. These positions are on‑site only (Canberra, Sydney, or Melbourne) due to the sensitive nature of the work. Key Responsibilities Manage and support Windows and Linux server infrastructure within secure environments. Operate and administer VMware virtualisation platforms in large‑scale data centre environments. Configure and maintain network routing, switching, and load balancing solutions. Implement, operate, and maintain firewall platforms and related network security devices. Support automation initiatives using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) , GitHub, and ServiceNow integration. Where applicable, provide expertise in Algosec for firewall policy analysis and optimisation. Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with security, performance, and availability requirements. Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis across infrastructure and security domains. Document designs, configurations, and operational processes to support knowledge transfer and audit requirements. Requirements NV1 or NV2 clearance (mandatory â€" no exceptions). 5+ years’ experience in data centre systems administration and infrastructure engineering.
