About this role
This is a technical role responsible for designing, developing, automating, and supporting enterprise infrastructure platforms and services. The engineer will combine software development expertise with hands-on infrastructure knowledge to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions across virtualized, containerized, and data-center environments. Design and develop Java- and Python-based services, APIs, integrations, and automation for infrastructure platforms. Engineer and support end-to-end virtual-machine provisioning workflows, including template and golden-image creation, validation, security scanning, release, and lifecycle maintenance. Automate infrastructure operations through Ansible and AAP using reusable playbooks, roles, inventories, and workflows. Integrate provisioning solutions with VMware, network services, DNS, databases, security tooling, and enterprise platforms. Develop and maintain Kubernetes-based workloads, deployment artifacts, configuration, and operational controls. Troubleshoot complex issues across application, operating-system, virtualization, database, and network layers. Apply secure engineering, vulnerability remediation, compliance, observability, resilience, and change-management practices. Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, documentation, mentoring, and process improvement. Minimum experience: 10-12 years of relevant experience in software engineering, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or a related technology domain. Software engineering experience: Strong experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting production-grade services and automation solutions.
