Job Description REQ-09 We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering Department. As a data engineer you will work with large complex data feeding from several source systems into a Centrally managed Data Warehouse. You will be required to extract data, design reports, automate reports, manage data projects, monitor and control data in our Data Warehouse. We require a highly capable specialist who is organised, able to thrive under pressure and is comfortable engaging with both business stakeholders and technical teams. The Role The Data Engineer provides a range of relevant and practical data, analytical and reporting solutions and results to business & key-stakeholders, by sourcing, structuring, visualising and automating data into usable business reports and data assets. The Data Engineer is a key member within the Kaelo Reporting Team, who is fundamental in helping business in understanding data, and in general supporting Kaelo with insights and tools to improve all aspects of their operations and strategy. Some of your responsibilities will include: Write scripts and procedures to automate data jobs, extracts and feeds to ensure a move towards more real-time and self-service reports and less manual report production.
